What is Nutritional Therapy?
I am a Certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner. An NTP is a specialized practitioner that performs an in-depth assessment to discern a client's bio-individual needs and utilizes advanced nutritional therapy skills to restore balance and functionality in the body. I make nutritional and lifestyle recommendations for balancing the body to promote optimal wellness. I educate my clients on the importance of a whole food, properly prepared, nutrient dense diet that isn’t a diet, but rather a lifestyle. Nutritional Therapy is not a quick fix, it is a lifestyle shift. I inspire those with my testimony that they can truly heal their bodies from the inside out while intertwining the subtle thoughts that “you are what you eat”. I council clients on making the most beneficial and nutrient dense choices for their body while embracing their bio-individuality. That is to say that no two bodies are alike and there is no one food fits all mentality here at The Healthful Body.
The benefits of Nutritional Therapy include support to achieve optimum energy levels, heathy blood sugar balance, optimum intestinal health and tolerance to a broad range of food groups as well as making sure you are eating the best diet based on your health condition. I work to find the root cause of your symptoms and work from that point forward to uncover nutritional imbalances or food sensitivities, then provide you with menu ideas and recipes tailored towards your bio-individuality.
